On Thursday, August 26th, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. the Portland District Recreation Committee will be hosting a "Movie in the Park" in the upper ball diamond at Centennial Park in Harrowsmith, This event is focused on providing families with an opportunity for a safe, fun, family evening as well as a major fundraiser for new playground equipment to be purchased and installed within the district. The movie title is Shrek 4 - Forever After.

Residents are reminded that the current recycling calendars expire at the end  of June 2010.

The Township of South Frontenac requires an individual to assist with duties related to the 2010 Municipal Election, holiday relief, and various secretarial duties in various departments as required.

Excellent office skills are required, including computer (word,excel) as well as filing duties and reception. Training will be provided for election duties.
